Directors
On-Site Directors are divided into two groups: On-Set and Off-Set.
On-Set Directors take the role of minro supporting characters in the
production and are usually in a position to advise or serve more
important roles, facilitiating their ability to enter and leave rooms
and situations without great attention or effort. They are neve
directly involved in the action, but may arrive to privately counsel a
character, deliver a message or prop or some device to assist in
customizing an interaction or production.
Directors are armed with wireless PADS and communicators hidden in
costume. They are assigned a "safe room" in each major building which
is off-set to organize and prepare. They are more akin to
theatrical Stage Managers, but their position often requires consulting
with performers and other talent.
Off-Set Directors operate in the Monitor Rooms located throughout the
park, observing activities on hidden cameras, communicating with On-Set
Directors and performers, merchants and guests as needed. They
manage schedules and coordinate their efforts with a Master Director
who is in charge of the overall flow of Resort Events.
