Enterdyne Resorts
Human Resource
Training Program
All
Producers, Participants, Extras, Craftsmen, Artisans, Performers and
Key Performers will be required to complete 10-20 hours of training per
season in various courses of study designed to increase the value of
their participation in the full-immersion theater. Many crew
members with high guest-contact positions will also undergo a series of
programs to assist in "blending" with the action.
The end result
is a well-rounded team of knowledgeable and helpful individuals focused
on giving our guests the most exciting experience possible.
Courses are
scheduled 6 weeks prior to the opening weekend of the park and are
considered paid training sessions. However, each course is evaluated
and satisfactory performance must be recorded as a condition of
continuing employment with Enterdyne. Class hours are based
on weekday hourly courses in the Administration Center and, in some
cases, the Resort itself. A 10-hour course, for example, would be
5 days per week for two weeks to accumulate 20 hours of total training
(or half a week’s pay)
Classes are
carried out by Operational Supervisors and Management in cooperation
with the History Department of the University of Brigidsmouth.
Some class projects and research will be required. Millstone
Derry’s fully stocked library will provide all of what students need to
complete their coursework.
Classes are
proffered on a specific academic level. The higher the course
number the most specific and involved the subject will be. All
employees of Enterdyne Resorts are required to attend the "101" course
in Victorian history while only a few will be required to learn
Victorian bartending skills.
